Spring Workshop: 1st EuroMass Imaging 2026>

Welcome !

Dear Colleagues,

The GdR-MSI (GDR2125) will reach the end of its first term in December 2026. From the very beginning, we expressed our intention to organize an international event. Following discussions with the German community in Strasbourg in 2024, we decided to organize a joint event on “neutral ground” in Luxembourg.

For communication and to motivate people around you to come, here is the flyer !

This exceptional “GdR-MSI” event, entitled Spring Workshop: 1st EuroMass Imaging 2026, organised in collaboration with Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), will take place from April 8 to 10, 2026 at the University of Luxembourg (Belval campus). As with our traditional GdR-MSI meetings, registration as well as meals and coffee breaks will be free of charge. Only travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the participating laboratories or companies.

The program will include four plenary lectures given by:

        - Dr. Jens Soltwisch (Germany)

        - Prof. Ingela Lanekoff (Sweden)

        - Dr. Jean-Paul Barnes (France)

        - Prof. David Scurr (United Kingdom)

These lectures will cover a wide range of topics (biology, health, materials, cultural heritage, etc.) and MSI techniques (MALDI, DESI, SIMS, LA-ICP-MS ...).

In addition, the program will feature five contributed sessions, as well as two parallel sessions:

·      - Multiomics / Multimodal Single Cell

·      - Advanced Materials: Surface and Depth Characterization

The main objective of this event is to promote the GdR-MSI network and to strengthen the coexistence and collaboration of our communities at the international level.

Personal data you provide during your registration (first name, last name, institution) will be shared with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), co-organiser of the event, solely for logistical organisation purposes and badge printing.

Your data will be retained until 15 April 2026 and will not be used for any other purposes.

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data by contacting LIST at event@list.lu
